Alexandra + Curt Married

Summer usually adds up to high speed, hit the floor running days that don’t seem to let up much given my lifestyle. That said, there’s been little time to spend here recounting the events I have photographed these last few months. In early May, I had the pleasure of attending and capturing images of Alexandra and Curt’s wedding at the historic 1886 Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs. Alexandra is a family member and I have known her all of her life so it was extra special to have the honor of photographing her wedding. So happy to now know Curt. Alexandra scored nicely. He’s such a great guy and they compliment each other perfectly.

Their wedding weekend was full of fun and guests were treated to great food and fun in one of the most elegantly decorated events I have attended in my 30 years of wedding photography. Amy and Kenny (and staff) from the Vintage Soul Events created stunning ceremony and reception surroundings. The tea lights hanging from the ceiling in the Crystal Dining Room created a feeling of dancing beneath the stars. Their work was complimented by the floral designs from Sammy Sues Designs of Kansas City.

Check out Alexandra’s wedding dress. No words.

Everything worked nicely, the weather was our friend, timing was on point (even with a huge wedding party), the light, the space, the food and reception were simply excellent. What of gift of opportunity to be able to create great captures for this couple to hold onto for many years to come.

So blessed! Thanks for choosing me.
